Terms of Service

The service

ÜPay sells digital gift cards and vouchers, paid in USDC sent from FOMO. Vouchers are issued by our provider, Bitrefill, and are subject to the terms of the store that honours them.

Your account

You sign in with Google and must be at least 18. You choose a Member Name when you first sign in; it is public and cannot be changed later. Keep your Google account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can use your ÜPay account.

Orders and payment

Each order shows its price, including ÜPay's fee, before you pay. You pay by Sending the exact amount shown from FOMO within the time shown. A Send that arrives late, short, or from a different FOMO username may not be matched to your order automatically and is reviewed by us.

If you pay more than an order costs, for example because of FOMO's minimum Send, the difference becomes Credits on your account, which you can use towards later orders. Credits are not cash and cannot be withdrawn.

Vouchers

A voucher code is shown in your account once it is issued. Treat it like cash: anyone who has the code can use it. Once a code has been issued, the order is final and cannot be refunded, except where the law requires. If a voucher cannot be issued, we will make it right with Credits or a refund.

Referrals

When someone signs up through your Referral Link, you earn a share of ÜPay's fee on their orders, as shown on your Rewards page. You can request a payout in USDC to a Solana address once your earnings reach the minimum shown. We may withhold earnings obtained through abuse, such as referring yourself.

Acceptable use

Do not use ÜPay for anything unlawful, to launder money, with funds that are not yours, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

ÜPay is provided as is. We are not responsible for losses caused by mistakes in a Send you make, by FOMO, by the Solana network, or by a store that refuses a valid voucher, and our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, to the extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version shown here, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.
